Addicted to Beauty
Addicted to Beauty series Sept 1st
The series opens with the marriage of a spa and a plastic surgery clinic. Dr. Gilbert Lee, a plastic surgeon, is hoping that combining his practice with a spa might bring in new clients.
While Dr. Lee’s in charge of all things surgical, Dianne York-Goldman is heading up the spa-side of the practice and she’s brought in her A-team to get the place up and running.
This includes her Executive Assistant, Natasha, spa concierge Ronnie and receptionist Gary. She also hires spa director Shannyn, a no-nonsense woman whose main goal is to generate revenue for the business.
In the middle of all of this is Dr. Lee, nice, professional plastic surgeon who seems to just want to do his job and avoid whatever sparks of drama might start flying in his practice.
If you’re looking for a series that’s all about plastic surgery this is not. Oxygen has done it again! It has taken a workplace reality series and combined it with a show about a plastic surgery and spa business. Between the clientele and the employees, there’s more than enough Botox to go around. Add that to the drama that comes with running a business and trying to look beautiful at the same time and I think Oxygen has a reality series on its hands.

Veneers Will Make You Smile!
Veneers can make your smile!!
Porcelain veneers are costly (between $1,200-$3,500 per tooth), but dentists are now working with the seventh generation of porcelain laminates, meaning they’re stronger, whiter, and more realistic-looking than ever.
Ttoday’s porcelain veneers can be paper-thin and bonded onto the tooth front. At times, only the smallest amount of natural tooth is required to be reduced before veneer placement. The latest versions are also more translucent. The newer state-of-the-art veneers (like Empress veneers) allow light to penetrate through, producing a translucency which is very natural looking and attractive.
The advantage of porcelain veneers is that they do not wear down as natural teeth do, and they’re completely resistant to stains. The drawback? Once you have them, you must keep them for life, since a protective layer of your natural teeth has been removed.
If you’re getting porcelain veneers and debating between two shades, always go with the whiter one.
Kudos for bright smiles!
